Sales Manager/ Regatta Support Specialist
As the premier charter provider for ILCA and Opti’s, we are seeking a customer service orientated professional with sales experience to provide exceptional on-the-ground regatta support at regional and national events as well as manage and expand our sales team.
Sales Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensures its continued growth and strong presence on the regatta circuit
- Coordinate our ILCA and Opti Regatta schedules with senior management, including logistics and staffing
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for local, regional and national events
- Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
- Manage the sales pipeline, including lead generation for individual saailors, club and instituational sailing programs.
Work Hours This is a full-time, salaried position. Travel and occasional weekends required
Sales Manager Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to track and analyze the sales cycle
- Experience mentoring and coaching sales reps
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
- Ability to work well independently and in collaboration with others
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Knowledge of one design dinghy sailing
- Customer service and/or previous sales experience
- Ability to lift 50+lbs
- Experience towing trailers, specifically enclosed trailers
- Clean driving record
