Auto Release Clam Cleat

The Clamcleat Auto-Release Racing Mini is designed to securely hold a rudder downhaul while helping protect the rudder from damage. If the rudder strikes the bottom or another solid object, the cleat automatically releases the line, allowing the blade to lift. The release tension is adjustable to suit different setups and conditions, and once released, the cleat can be quickly reset by pushing it back into its base. It can also be used with lifting tillers and centerboards.
